INTRODUCTION-----
Dungeons of Doom is a text-based adventure game for your TI-83+/84+/SE
calculator. The object of the game is to navigate through a monster infested dungeon,
trying to find a key and an exit door. A variety of weapons, armor, and potions are scattered
throughout to help you.

REQUIREMENTS----
- TI-83+/84+/SE graphing calculator (duh) (SE is recommended for speed)
- 10k free ram without MirageOS
- 5k free ram with MirageOS (Dungeons of Doom is archived)
- TI-Graph link cable and software for transfer

DIFFERENCES FROM REGULAR DUNGEONS OF DOOM--------
Dungeons of Doom Lite is a special version of Dungeons of Doom. The main difference between the
two is the Lite version creates a smaller dungeon of 7x7 rooms instead of 10x10. This means
that less memory is required and games go faster. The lite edition program is also slightly
smaller in memory. Except for these differences, the games are practically identical.

GAMEPLAY----
After the title screen, Dungeons of Doom will ask if you want to play a new game or load a saved
game. Please choose new game if you haven't saved a game previously. If you select new game,
you will be taken to the dungeon creation screen. Please be patient, this process takes a
while. It creates a 49 room dungeon with random monsters and objects, as well as a key
and exit door. Here is a rough map of the dungeon:

(All numbers refer to room numbers)
(The dashes in a line represent rooms)

|1 |----|----|----|----|----|7 |
|8 |----|----|----|----|----|14|
|15|----|----|----|----|----|21|
|22|----|----|----|----|----|28|
|29|----|----|----|----|----|35|
|36|----|----|----|----|----|42|
|42|----|----|----|----|----|49|

The key and door are each placed in a random room, and you must find
them.

Gameplay is simple enough, just press the number that matches your
selected action. For instance, in combat, enter 1, 2, 3, or 4 to
attack the monster of your choice. The "run" option lets you retreat
back to the previous room if you feel outmatched. Be sure to press
enter when the game displays information to read.

Weapons and protection items are self-explanatory, just realize that
picking one up will replace whatever is currently equipped. For
example, if you have a spear equipped and you pick up a large sword,
the spear is replaced by the sword as your weapon.

Potions will increase your health, attack, defense, or agility values.
It is a good idea to pick these up when you can.

At some point you probably will want to save your game. Simply select
the "save" option to save a game. Wait for the game to save, then you
can continue.

Good luck finding the key and door!

TROUBLESHOOTING------
1. I am getting "Mem" errors.
-You need to free up some RAM. Type "2nd" then the "plus" sign to go
to memory. Use "del" to clear items that aren't necessary.
-Note that Dungeons of Doom uses Matrices to store data. Matrices H,
I, an J can be deleted when the game is not being played. Matrices D,
E, F, and G make up a saved game. Do not delete these if you have
saved a game.

2. The game says there is no game to load, but I saved a game.
-Sorry, but you somehow deleted matrix D, and your saved game is lost.
Go into Memory, delete all matrices, (even archived ones with a "*")
and start a new game.

3. The game malfunctions under MirageOS.
-MirageOS compatibility differs depending on each calculator, and yours
seems to not support it. Sorry, but you have to run Dungeons of Doom
the regular way. (from the pgrm menu)

4. I found another error/bug not covered here.
-Hurry! E-mail a description of the problem to: Team77mail@yahoo.com

-Thanks
