WELCOME TO PUZZLE QUEST!!!

1. INTRODUCTION
Puzzle Quest is a fun puzzle game written in BASIC by
Team 77 Software. It features 10 levels, (plus 1 secret 
level) a save feature, and puzzles that will test you!

2. PLAYING THE GAME
To play Puzzle Quest, just double-click on pquest.exe.
You will see a short introduction, and be given 3 
choices. Type 1 for instructions, 2 to load a game, or
anything else to play. We strongly reccomend reading the 
instructions first! The object of the game is to beat
each level by getting to the top of the screen.

3. PROBLEMS
We currently have only one problem. If you try to load a 
game without saving one first, the game will end with an 
error. There is only one save slot, so please save your 
game first thing by hitting the "s" key. Also, make sure
that NUMLOCK is on and CAPSLOCK is off!

4. CLOSING NOTE
Puzzle Quest was written in BASIC (Beginner's All-
Purpose Symbolic Instruction Code) by Team 77 Software.
The game is public domain, meaning that you are free to 
use it however you want, with no charges. We even have
the source code for download at our website!

entrance to the secret level is in level 5)
